THE SWIMMING POOL

The heated indoor swimming pool at Ysgubor Degwm is located in the garden so you can enjoy a relaxing swim while still being part of the high jinx in the garden.

THE PIZZA OVEN & BBQ
​

The wood-fired "white oven" in the garden is great fun to use. You can turn a simple pizza lunch into an event with a mindful way of cooking! There are cast iron pans in the garden kitchen, so you can allow your imagination to go wild and make the most of cooking in this ancient type of oven.
​
For more conventional alfresco cooking, we have a large gas bbq and rotisserie so you can enjoy the fun and sunshine while the aromas of your delicious cuisine float in the air.

Tennis

TENNIS COURT

​

The hard court at YSgubor Degwm provides a full-size tennis court. Ideal for our more athletic guests to get competitive with a match and our more leisurely minded guests to spectate with a long G&T!

ORCHARD
​

We have a small orchard at the eastern end of the barn with pear, apple and damson trees laden with fruit in the summer. The orchard offers natural shelter making it an ideal place to sit with tea and a good book. 


A table and chairs in the orchard make a relaxing space for those who enjoy their breakfast in the morning sun surrounded by nature.

GARDEN

The gardens at Ysgubor Degwm wrap around the barn and include a small orchard, expansive lawns, and various alfresco cooking and dining options. 

​

Wonder the garden and find your favourite spot to dream away your troubles and revitalise. From the small rope swing in the old Welsh Oak or the exquisitely comfortable garden sofas to croquet and badminton on the lawn, there is an area for everyone to embrace their holiday.
