THE SITTING ROOM
The decore at the barn celebrate the rural and coastal location with elegant natural interiors and expansive views that bring the outside inside.
We have comfortable Laura Ashley sofas to seat eight plus two armchairs in the sitting rooms so the entire party can gather around together. The large coffee table makes a great space to get competitive over the Scrabble board. The wood-burning stove takes centre stage with a Smart TV in the corner. The sitting room has two large bookcases with a selection of novels, local interests, cookery books and games.
THE DINING ROOM
At the west end of the sitting room is the principal dining table. The dining table seats ten people comfortably, making this space ideal for enjoying good food and whiling away the evening over port and cheese.

As you would have gathered from my wife's card we were absolutely blown away by the accommodation. Whilst it is obviously a beautiful and well equipped house the thing that struck us was a real sense of generosity. Everything was catered for, there was plenty of everything we needed (not the usual 6 of this and 6 of that, with everything counted in and out) and the gift basket was a lovely touch. I can say without hesitation it is the best self catering accommodation we have rented in the UK, and we have done more than a few over the years.
