Anyone for a game?

Whether you're feeling competitive or just fancy a little fun, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained. Enjoy a friendly match on the tennis court, shoot a few hoops or challenge each other to table tennis.

For something a little more leisurely, there's croquet on the lawn, giant Jenga and a collection of traditional garden games, perfect for bringing everyone together.

And of course, there's always time for a rematch!

GARDENS

Slow mornings, sunny afternoons, endless possibilities.

There's always a lovely little corner to discover in the gardens at Ysgubor Degwm. The large south-facing garden is perfect for sunny afternoons, with sweeping lawns, comfortable garden sofas and colourful borders filled with roses, fuchsias and dahlias.

On the north lawn, an old Welsh oak watches over the rope swing, while lavender, flowers and a flourishing herb garden bring scent and colour to the seasons. To the east, a young orchard is quietly growing into its own.

Whether it's a morning coffee in the sunshine, a good book beneath the trees or simply a moment to yourself, there's plenty of space to slow down and enjoy being outdoors.

Is the swimming pool private?
Yes, the heated swimming pool is exclusively for guests staying at Ysgubor Degwm, with no shared access.

Can we swim whatever the weather?
The pool is heated and housed within a permanent enclosure, offering sheltered swimming throughout the year while still enjoying natural light and garden views.

Do we need to bring pool towels?
No, we provide pool towels in addition to your usual bathroom towels and robes.

Are games and equipment provided?
Yes. There's equipment for tennis, basketball, table tennis, croquet, giant Jenga and a selection of traditional garden games.

Can we all eat outdoors together?
Absolutely. The pergola-covered dining table seats ten, with a gas BBQ and wood-fired pizza oven for outdoor cooking.

Are there any pool safety rules?
