Once a traditional Welsh stone barn, Ysgubor Degwm is now a beautifully converted, five star holiday home on the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales.
Sleeping up to ten guests across five bedrooms, the barn combines character and comfort with generous spaces for spending time together. From its soaring timber beams and welcoming living areas to its thoughtfully furnished bedrooms, it's somewhere to settle in, slow down and feel completely at home.

At the heart of Ysgubor Degwm, the spacious sitting room brings together the character of the original barn with all the comforts of a modern home. High vaulted ceilings, exposed timber beams, generous sofas and a woodburning stove create a welcoming space for everything from leisurely mornings to cosy evenings.
Whether you're catching up over a glass of wine, enjoying a film together or simply curling up with a good book, there's no need to rush anywhere.

Sometimes the best part of being away together is having a little space to yourself.
Away from the main lounge, the separate snug offers another place to settle in, whether that's for a quiet conversation, a little reading or simply a change of scene.
It's a lovely extra space when the whole family is staying.

Ysgubor Degwm sleeps ten guests across five individually furnished bedrooms, arranged between the East and West Wings of the barn. With a choice of superking, king, twin and bunk beds, there's plenty of flexibility for families and friends holidaying together.
Every bedroom is thoughtfully equipped with crisp white bed linen, fluffy towels, bathrobes, a hairdryer and fast WiFi, with little touches to make everyone feel at home.
The Master Bedroom | East Wing

Spacious, peaceful and wonderfully comfortable, the master bedroom is a lovely retreat at the end of the day.
With a generous superking bed, chaise longue, comfortable reading armchair and dressing table, there's plenty of room to relax and unwind. Windows look north across the surrounding countryside and south towards the coast, bringing a beautiful sense of the landscape into the room.
The master bedroom also enjoys its own en suite shower room.
Bedroom Two | East Wing

With its superking bed, coastal artwork and views south towards the sea, Bedroom Two has a calm and restful atmosphere.
A comfortable reading armchair, dressing table and wardrobe provide everything needed for a relaxing stay, while a door opens onto the gallery overlooking the magnificent vaulted lounge.
Bedroom Two shares a shower room with Bedroom Three.
Bedroom Three | East Wing

With twin single beds and views across the countryside, Bedroom Three has a lovely rural character.
Thoughtfully furnished with a reading armchair, dressing table and wardrobe, it's a comfortable and welcoming room for both younger and older guests.
A door opens onto the gallery above the lounge, and the shared shower room is conveniently located nearby.
Bedroom Four | West Wing

A peaceful bedroom with a king size bed and a relaxed coastal feel, Bedroom Four enjoys views towards the coast.
With a dressing table, wardrobe and access to the gallery overlooking the lounge, it's another lovely place to retreat after a busy day.
Situated beside the bunk room, it shares the ground floor family bathroom, making this part of the barn particularly convenient for parents staying with children.
The Bunk Bedroom | West Wing

A cosy little room with plenty of coastal character, the bunk room has two single bunk beds, a window seat and views across the countryside.
There's a clothes rail for belongings, and the room is supplied with the same white bed linen, towels and bathrobes as the other bedrooms.
With Bedroom Four next door and the family bathroom downstairs, it's a lovely arrangement for families.
BATHROOMS & COMFORT

With ten guests staying together, those extra bathrooms can make all the difference.
Ysgubor Degwm has four bathrooms and shower rooms across two floors. Upstairs, the master bedroom has its own en suite shower room, while Bedrooms Two and Three share a second shower room.
On the ground floor, the family bathroom features a beautiful copper bath and striking jungle tiles. There's also an additional shower room within the utility, complete with a shower, toilet and basin.
It's a particularly useful arrangement when everyone is getting ready for a day out or returning from the pool.
